K. Pandia Rajan, Chairman, Ma Foi Randstad is a pioneer, who played a crucial role in the evolution of HRD industry in India. He founded the Ma Foi Management Consultants Limited in 1992 with an aim to offer a basket of innovative HR products.

Ma Foi today, is a one stop shop for all HR needs, providing integrated and professional HR services for clients and has around 1500 professionals working across 50 locations in India and Sri Lanka. Started with a capital of just Rs.60,000, Ma Foi became the first Public Limited HR Services provider in India, in the year 1994.

Pandia Rajan, through Ma Foi, is responsible for generating career opportunities for above 3,43,000 professionals in 36 countries over the last 19 years. The first to explore HR Outsourcing in the country, today through his company, more than 61,000 personnel are deputed with 400 blue-chip corporates.

A B.E. (Hons) Graduate from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, he earned Masters in Business Administration (PM & IR) from Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur. Prior to starting Ma Foi, Pandia Rajan worked in BOC & Deutsche Babcock IDEA.

Being an entrepreneur himself, he is a strong advocate of entrepreneurship and plays an important role in the boards of many such initiatives like Kumaran Systems, AxisV Creatives, Sresta Natural Bioproducts, Rudi Multi Trading Co. and Naethra Technologies.

He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and is in the Governing Councils of Kalasalingam University, Ethiraj College, Velammal Institute of Management, Madurai Institute of Social Sciences, A.D.M. College for Women and Centre for Social Initiatives & Management. He is also a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).

He was conferred the Eisenhower Fellowship, the Eisenhower network being a prestigious network of 1800 global leaders from over 100 countries.He is a Member of the State Council of CII Tamil Nadu.

Pandia Rajan has a keen interest in the advancement of education, employment and career opportunities for underprivileged children and women. This has led him to establish The Ma Foi Foundation, which works with children, women and youth to provide education, healthcare and employability skills for the underprivileged. The Foundation provides educational scholarships to over 4000 children across 120 schools in Chennai, Virudhunagar and Madurai Districts.

It also works towards improving the livelihoods of women through Self Help Groups, which benefits over 65,000 women. The foundation’s health initiative ensures that children from the disadvantaged community have immediate access to quality health care and over 80,000 children have benefitted till now. He is also the founder member of the Confederation of Indian Organizations for Service and Advocacy (CIOSA), a forum representing over 247 NGOs in Chennai.

He is a Trustee of Koothu-p-pattarai, a pioneer theatre group in Tamil Nadu. He is a Member of Lions Club of Sivakasi Industrial Town and an active Rotarian of Sivakasi Central. Mr. Pandia Rajan has authored “You are Appointed” and “Ayirathil Oruvan”, books on career guidance in Tamil for the youth.
